I serve the Colorado Springs area and offer online sessions for distance clients. I travel to teach workshops both domestically and internationally. I am a Certified Hanna Somatic Educator, Certified Clinical Somatic Educator, and am versed in functional, play-based movement. I have also served on the AHSE board as an “at-large” Director. I am a former professional dancer and hold a BA in Dance Education, a Certification in Massage Therapy and Holistic Health Education, and was a Creative Movement teacher for several years.
I work with those suffering from chronic back, neck, shoulder, hip, knee, and foot pain and anyone recovering from injury, or wanting to improve their mobility and prevent injury. My clients include children, teenagers, athletes, seniors, and healthcare professionals. I conduct private sessions at my Manitou Springs, CO office. I teach my specialty workshops and seminars across four continents. I also conduct online video sessions and classes with clients domestically and abroad who seek personalized help in resolving chronic pain and improving mobility.
My goal is to provide my clients struggling with chronic pain, joint stiffness, general bodily discomfort, or postural problems the necessary learning to improve themselves and their movement by using the common sense, rapidly effective methods of Hanna Somatics. In addition, I teach clients to apply this learning to their daily life and favorite activities. I also work with those suffering from recurring injuries with an eye toward injury prevention and increased mobility.
