I serve the Sacramento, Lake Tahoe, and foothill areas of Northern California, and offer online sessions for distance clients.  My 40-year background in yoga brought me to Hanna Somatics in 2020, and I haven’t looked back.  As a Certified Hanna Somatic Educator, I find that a careful, attentive approach to movement informs my work with dancers and athletes, people recovering from cancer or other surgeries, people with neurological challenges, including MS and Parkinson’s disease, and people in their 70’s and 80’s who want to feel 30 (I do!).  I hold an MA in Applied Psychology, and appreciate the mental/emotional changes that often come with the release of chronic tension.  This discipline truly brings new life to tired bodies, and I am happy to help facilitate that change for my clients.
