I discovered Hanna Somatic Education after excessively exercising my body into tension and pain. I became extremely injury prone as a runner. Somatics helped me so much more than anything else I ever tried, and I tried almost everything. I was able to run a trail marathon shortly after learning Somatic exercises. I decided to become a practitioner and trained at the Novato Institute for Hanna Somatic Research and Training. My practice started in August 2010, and I have worked with hundreds of folks with both private sessions and group classes. I have worked extensively with college and high school athletes to improve sports performance. I have experience working with pregnant women, elderly folks with or without cognitive impairment, and persons of any age group who have gotten stuck on their path to joyful living.
