Somatic Listening

Joan Kaufman, Natalie Pace & Laura Gates 4-29-2009

How we listen has a direct impact on the outcome of every encounter. Listening somatically helps us to be present with each other with an open, quiet and curious mind. This is an important key to unraveling the complexities of disputes and habituated patterns, and to finding creative solutions for transforming any situation. We will be able to put what we learn to immediate use during the Convention practice sessions and Business Meeting. These skills will also enrich our practices by enhancing our communication with our clients.
